YES, I AM FREE, ARE YOU?

Hi Divya!! “What are the preparations for Independence Day tomorrow?”

For a while I was speechless... Independence Day!!!! … Oh Yeah Independence Day!!!

Maybe I’ll get ready, wear some new and trendy clothes, may hear PM’s address to the nation, prepare some sweets and will have fun with family and friends.. I replied… and just hang the phone up.

But deep inside it opened a Pandora box of questions. Because for a moment I felt, Am I really free, and what does freedom mean? It’s not that I have forgotten the sacrifices of all the freedom fighters and I undermine anyone’s efforts. But I felt in one’s life everything happens at two levels.

A. At the level of Physical existence

B. At the level of Mental Creations

We really got freedom on 15^th Aug 1947 at the first level of Physical existence but on the other level we have a journey of a lifetime to be traveled to be free.

When we speak about freedom at the mental level, we have been listening to broaden once thinking level and about equality for all, opportunities for all, broadness, openness and acceptance of free societal framework, etc. 

“But does all this really mean freedom at the Mental level?”

My opinion could be vague and may not be accepted by all but I still have the courage to say what I feel. To me the all that all have been mentioned as freedom at the mental level, is just nothing but a subpart of freedom at a physical level only, because at the end of the day we are taking about changing the framework of societal existence or machinery and it has nothing to do with the freedom at the Mental level and is more of less connected with physical world.

To me the Independence or Freedom in real sense comes from the elimination of Fear. The courage to overcome your FEARS.

We as humans are living a Gandhari’s life wherein we have eyes but we have blindfolded it with our own hands and we just listen to what others say and build our world around it. She did something out of the gesture of creating equality with her husband and this became her supreme sacrifice but for whom you have blindfolded your own beautiful eyes.

We don’t want to see the world with our own eyes because deep within we have a fear that we don’t know what’s right or wrong and it’s better to commit any mistake lets blindfold our eyes and listen to what others say and walk the path. At least if we stumble, it won’t be our own fault and we will always have people around to take care of ourselves and help. When you blindfold you can make mistakes and someone else will be responsible to take burnt of it. Your fear of taking ownership or accountability guided you to rely more on ears then using eyes.

Similarly, take an example of anything in life to be it the battle between countries or battle within oneself, it is the fear factor which becomes the differentiating factor and whosoever feels the higher degree of fear losses the ground.

We are not fighting any battle with guns or bullets in our life rather we are fighting a battle in our hearts and mind every single second pass by. Our mind is conditioned to become defensive in the period of adversities and we tend to stop thinking positively towards any situation and this triggers the emotion of “Fear”. Fear of loss, fear of losing a job or a business contract, fear of losing a relationship, fear of losing an image earned after years of sacrifices, fear of going out and exploring the world, fear of choosing the right life partner which you may feel perfect but could be rejected your parents, fear of being human as human cause it really calls for sacrifices and we are conditioned to receive naturally but not to shed blood and comfort for anything in life.

Being simple and stupid calls for some really scary and shitty affair in one’s life. The moment you reflect the same you are being dragged to the garbage boxes placed by the society in the drawing rooms of each mansions and castles built by our forefathers and father’s. The cleaner and the brighter the house, the bigger and stronger garbage box of shitty beliefs is placed in the middle of the drawing-room and everyone who just steps in feels shy of his own garbage box in their drawing-room as it seems very tiny in comparison to these. The bigger the Garbage box the richer and wealthier you are termed and nobody opens it's up because inside lives killing rotting smell of fear of millions of things what that the person and family could have done but didn’t attempted ever to save their societal image.

 Fear is the root of all evil, it is the father of anger, frustration, pain, defeat and of a dead life because you didn’t action on something or other, choosing to let go of many things that could have become a blessing but are simply being suppressed by your fear.

So, I thought if something has to be done on the Independence Day in real sense, it must be freedom from my own Fears. Independence from any sort of expressed or hidden secrets of life influence by the fear of any sort must be faced today and burned alive in the extreme heat of a strong will power.

Fear can be killed by only one weapon and that’s very rare but simple to acquire. You just need a great amount of clarity about what needs to be killed and then apply a strong will power and consistent efforts to overcome it. Wisdom, clarity and willpower makes it a lethal weapon to fight the battle with hidden or expressed fears. Once it is done you witness a beautiful life, a life which is truly yours and wherein you will be celebrating the Independence Day every day and moment of life.

With these prayers, let me wish you a very happy and grand Independence Day. May you get Independence from your past pains, emotions, and fears. May you live a life of peace and freedom with eternal wisdom, infinite love, and happiness. Fly in the sky of success and abundance of wealth and become a medium to change the lives of millions with your internal light.

What you choose you to become and what you face creates a future... so choose wisely and carve nicely, it’s your life and it has all the right to be super BEAUTIFUL….
